“Andeas was ‘guide fantastic’ He was so well organized with extra plates, glasses & napkins to enable us to share some of the tastings. He connected all the food & drinks with some aspect of the history of Columbia. We had lots of time at each venue, each venue treated us as old friends. We went an hour overtime. Andeas English is perfect & he is a master story teller. After the tour he sent us the recipes & pictures of the unusual fruits we tried. 5 stars plus to Andrea’s”

“I had a great time exploring the fruit market!!! Of course, you can go to the market by yourself and look around alone, but with a local guide, you get much more fun and information! Sara, my guide, spoke excellent English, and she showed me around the beautiful flower market and the fruit market. She brought a knife, cutting board, napkins, and even dental floss (!!) for the fruit tasting. Amazing exotic fruits really captured me!! I would highly recommend this tour for a foodie, someone interested in the local foods and lives of the local people. Total worth the money & time!”

“Sarai was a wonderful guide, who gave my wife and I a delicious introduction to Colombian cuisine. From more well-known arepas (despite their disputed origins with Venezuela) and empanadas (a beautiful representation of all three cultures - African, Indigenous and Spanish) to very local foods like buñuelos (a popular Christmas delicacy) and ajiaco (delicious stew) and a small taste of a massive cornucopia of 430 endemic fruits, we overindulged ourselves in the best ways possible. Thank you again, Sarai - we wish you an amazing future as you embark in your nascent career in the tourism industry!”

“Had a great experience visiting one of Bogota's main markets. We tasted and sampled foods, fresh fruits and juices that are totally foreign our Canadian palate. Met interesting and knowledgeable vendors who were only too willing to spend time with us despite also having to accommodate real customers. Our private tour also included a fantastic lunch tamale and hot chocolate and cheese a Bogota treat. Best to choose the morning tour in order to visit the market when it is in full swing and all stalls are open.”
